Some things are worth waiting for…
Traveling thousands of miles from home to enter college is the only way nineteen-year-old Avery Morgansten can escape what happened at the Halloween party five years ago—an event that forever changed her life.
All she needs to do is make it to her classes on time, make sure the bracelet on her left wrist stays in place, not draw any attention to
herself, and maybe—please God—make a few friends, because surely that would be a nice change of pace. The one thing she didn’t need and never planned on was capturing the attention of the one guy who could shatter the precarious future she’s building for herself. Some things are worth experiencing… Cameron Hamilton is six feet and three inches of swoon-worthy hotness, complete with a pair of striking blue eyes and a remarkable ability to make her want things she believed were irrevocably stolen from her. She knows she needs to stay away from him, but Cam is freaking everywhere, with his charm, his witty banter, and that damn dimple that’s just so… so lickable. Getting involved with him is dangerous, but when ignoring the simmering tension that sparks whenever they are around each other becomes impossible, he brings out a side of her she never knew existed. Some things should never be kept quiet… But when Avery starts receiving threatening emails and phone calls forcing her to face a past she wants silenced, she’s has no other choice but to acknowledge that someone is refusing to allow her to let go of that night when everything changed. When the devastating truth comes out, will she resurface this time with one less scar? And can Cam be there to help her or will he be dragged down with her?

” Quotes”

“I’m beginning to think cookies is a code word for something else.” “Maybe it is.” He tugged on my bag again as he took a confident step back, forcing me down another step. “And just think about it. If
cookie was a code word, whatever it symbolizes, it’s been in your mouth, sweetheart.”
― J. Lynn, Wait for You

“You’ve been checking me out, haven’t you? In between your flaming insults? I feel like man candy.”
― J. Lynn, Wait for You

“Fuck, Avery. You think I don’t want you? There’s not a single part of you that I don’t want, you understand? I want to be on you and inside of you. I want you against the wall, on the couch, in your bed, in my bed, and every fucking place I can possibly think of, and trust me, I have a vast imagination when it comes to these kinds of things. Don’t ever doubt that I want you. That is not what this is about.”
― Jennifer L. Armentrout, Wait for You

“My brain was telling me this was a bad idea and I told my brain to shut the fuck up, because it rarely told me anything helpful.”
― Jennifer L. Armentrout, Wait for You

“We have to stop meeting like this.”
And that was the truest thing ever spoke. I needed to stop staring at his bicep… and chest… and tattoo. Never thought the sun could be so… sexy. Wow. This was awkward.
“You running over me, me almost running over you?” Cam elaborated. “It’s like we’re a catastrophe waiting to happen.”
― J. Lynn, Wait for You

“I didn’t know what to say, but my heart was racing as he slid his hands down to mine. He placed them on his chest, right above his
heart. “I have hope,” he said, his gaze never leaving mine. “I have hope because I love you-I’ve been in love with you, Avery. Probably before I even realized that I was.”
“You loved me?”
Cam dropped his forehead to mine and his chest rose sharply under my hands. “I love you.” My heart stuttered. “You love me?”
“Yes, sweetheart.”
― J. Lynn, Wait for You

” Review ”

I recommend this book 100%, I really loved this story from the beginning & it will leave you wanting more, the characters are well written, the story is engaging, fun, there’s some mystery to this story too if you read the book description you will see that Avery is hiding something from her past, I will no say what she’s hiding because I don’t want to spoil it for you & of course LADIES there’s also the swoon worthy Cam 😉 Whoever reads this won’t be disappointed coz J. Lynn really nailed this story.

“I’m beginning to think cookies is a code word
for something else.”
“Maybe it is.” He tugged on my bag again as he took a confident step back, forcing me down another step. “And just think about it. If cookie was a code word, whatever it symbolizes, it’s been in your mouth, sweetheart.” “Leaning back against Cam’s chest, I tipped my head back and I reached up, cupping his cheek. I drew his mouth to mine and kissed him softly. “Thank you.”
His lips curved up on one side. “For what?”
“For waiting for me.”
