Heartthrob bounty hunter Greg King knows how to work it—and he knows that he can have any woman he wants. But there’s more to Greg than meets the eye…and he’s still haunted by the memory of his beautiful, estranged wife. Much as he’s tried to move on, he’s never been able to stopstopped wondering why Haley left him. Or what he could have done to make their marriage better—and make her stay…

After putting a vicious criminal behind bars, Haley King had no choice but to leave her loved ones behind and enter the witness protection program. Turns out that, in her new life, Haley has once again found herself in serious trouble—and needs help from the only person she can trust: her husband. Now, as old secrets threaten to tear them apart and danger closes in from all sides, it’s up to Greg to keep Haley safe…and convince her that this time, he’s playing for keeps.

First thing you should know is that do not judge this book by cover or name. There are no bikers just the bounty hunters a lot of suspense, detective work and action. Secondly I both liked and hated this book but in the end decided to give it five stars because all in all it was definitely a great book just has some dull parts. 😉

Haley King left her home, her husband and two boys to go into witness protection program because she had testified against a notorious drug dealer. She built up her life as Hannah and worked with a private detective John who has recently disappeared without a trace. Haley needs Greg as her husband is the only one she can trust right now.

Greg King was devastated when Haley agreed to go into the program after all he was confident that he could protect his family. They had their differences but still he loved his wife and never thought to replace her in last six years. Now suddenly she appeared at the place where he was working, so she was back but why and will she stay this time? One thing is for sure, her life is in danger and Greg will go to any extend to keep her safe no matter what.

Marc and Jake King work with their father and both are just as good bounty hunters as him. When their mother left they were still growing up and very much in the dark about the whole situation but now she is back to stay. Finally their family is whole again but for it to stay that way they must find where Haley’s boss John is and what exactly The Bird, a renowned assassin, has to do with his and all others’ mysterious disappearing.

The book is packed with suspense and action although a few chapters in the middle were really boring and seemed pointless, it was like the story was dragging and nothing was happening fast enough but the epic final show down made it up for it. This family of bounty hunters and detectives will leave you craving for more action and thrill for sure.
