When her friend Julia needed help forming a revenge plan against her ex-boyfriend, Ava was happy to lend a hand. She never expected that in the course of making Liam pay, she’d be the one to fall hard. . .for the one person who was absolutely off-limits. Crushing on the guy who humiliated her best friend is definitely against the girl code.

Besides, Ava has goals. Her life is all about graduating with honors and landing the perfect job. And Liam Bailey—sweet-talking, complicated son of a well-known local politician—isn’t part of those plans.

But Liam doesn’t give up easily. And he doesn’t intend to let their friends’ opinions, his parents’ disapproval or Ava’s past get in the way of what he wants–Ava’s heart.

There are sweet romantic stories that you just can’t help, but to fall in love. Even if the hero it’s formerly presented as a d*ck , you find that you really can’t hate him. Because you begin to see that boy with different eyes, a different heart, and that’s what happened to me by reading Just Desserts by Tawdra Kandle. I fell in love with this story and connected with the characters so much, especially the heroin Ava. I saw with her eyes and felted her emotions, as well the confusion in having more than friendship with a boy that in girl-code he was prohibit or off limits. And the author did such a great job making two people oblivious to their emotion fell slowly and deeply in love with each other. It felt so real and so right that you would want to keep this story close to your heart forever. I know; I will.

Overall, the story is a must read and reading it you will first hand experiment the meaning of redemption and the courage it takes to open up to another person. To enjoy life, and be daring to grasp and not let go of heartwarming, funny, sexy, unconditional, true love.

His hair was still damp from the shower, and before I could stop myself, I reached up to flip one light brown curl out of his eyes.

The minute I touched his skin, Liam grabbed my arm in a grip of steel. “Don’t,” he breathed. “Ava, I’m trying. I’m trying to stick to what you want. Frienship only. But right now, it’s hard to remember why.”

I couldn’t speak. My tongue was paralyze as he slid his hand down my arm and then held me by the shoulders.

“At this minute, all I can think is that I want to back you into the wall, lift up that skirt and drive into you. Wrap your gorgeous legs around my waist, with your heels still on, so I can feel them against my back. Fill my hands with your tits, suck your nipples into my mouth, Pound myself inside you until you come so loud and hard, you scream my name loud enough for the whole building to hear.”
